Making numerous international trips each year, he is teaching disciple-making principles to thousands of people all over the world. Wade continues to be a vital part of our church community. As our Missions Pastor, he is expanding our reach in the earth and is putting us in fellowship with quality ministries that we can partner with in the advancement of the Gospel. In addition, he serves as one of our Overseers, giving valuable oversight and accountability to the ongoing ministry of Grace Fellowship.

Everything Sad is Going to Come Untrue!

There is an immeasurable and universal amount of suffering and sadness in our world. This isn't new, but has been true throughout history since Adam got us kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Having spent fifty years in vocational Christian ministry where I did my share of conflict counseling and funerals, and now facing, like never before, the reality of my own mortality, ...

Does Islam Have a Lot in Common With the Christian Faith?

The Muslim's message to Christians in the West these days is," We have a lot in common, we are similar, accept us, listen to us" Pastor Sam Storms reports on the contents of a billboard in Oklahoma City: "On the right side of the sign, in huge letters, is the word ISLAM.On the left side, under the title One Family, are the names of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad." Must Christians Choose Between Being Happy or Having Joy?

Until 2017, when I read Randy Alcorn's excellent, 450 page book titled, Happiness, (a book that I highly recommend and one that exhaustively covers the subject), I had believed, preached and taught for 47 years that Christians are to experience joy but not happiness. I asserted that happiness was a bubbly, superficial, and circumstantial feeling that comes and goes. In con...

A Perfect Witness Isn't Enough to Convince Loved Ones to See and Believe the Gospel!

1 Corinthians 15:7, "Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles." The James mentioned in 1 Cor. 15:7 is the half brother of Jesus, who was the oldest remaining son of the family that grew up in Nazareth. John tells us that Christ's brothers did not believe Jesus was the Messiah (Jn. 7:5). Hegesippus(c.110c.180), wrote five books ofCommentaries on the Acts of th...

No Contact- No Impact!

It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glo...

Wrong Confessions of Anti-Faith in Anti-Christ!

Dr. Norman Shepherd asserts that, "One of the most insidious weapons which Satan has been able to wield against the advancement of the Kingdom of God is the inculcation of the belief that though the Kingdom must be proclaimed throughout the world, the church really cannot expect that such proclamation will meet with any significant degree of success. One prominent writer i...

The Key to a "Sow and Tell" Lifestyle!

God's communication strategy has always been to wrap truth in a person and use that person as the seed of the kingdom to re-present and reproduce the sons of the kingdom. Matthew 13:38, "The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one." Jesus visualized and verbalized the reality of the kingdom of Heaven. He...

The 'Why Didn't God' Syndrome

Suffering is a universal reality. At one point or another, every human being encounters it in some way, shape or form. Many Christians struggle to reconcile this reality with the fact that we serve a loving, all-powerful God. We trust God and firmly believe in His sovereignty, yet still wonder why He allows suffering to happen. So many of us frequently find ourselves with...

I've Been Doing Some Figuring!

The expression "doing some figuring", is an idiom common to the Southern dialect which means to logically calculate, or to reason. One often hears the older generation say, "Well, the way I've got this figured." Or "I think I've got this all figured out." Paul does some "figuring" in Romans 8:18, and he shares his conclusion:"For I reckon, or consider that the sufferings ...
