Corporate prayer is one of the things we value as a church. A quick glance at the New Testament will reveal that most of the recorded praying of the early church was corporate. Even the model prayer that Jesus gave us in Matthew 6:9-13, is filled with plural pronouns: we, us, and ours. It is vitally important to pray privately concerning our own personal needs. However, it is equally important that we gather and pray corporately for needs outside our own. It is an essential part of Christian community. In addition, it is a great opportunity to grow closer to each other as we learn how to pray together.
Each week, we have special times where our only aim is to gather and pray. Tuesday nights are an opportunity to pray with Pastor Brian for our church family and our world. Sunday mornings are more focused on intercession for our corporate gathering that day. We are always excited for more people to join us as we seek the Lord together.
