Wade Trimmer is the founding pastor of Grace Fellowship of Augusta. He is a gifted preacher, teacher, writer and student of the Word of God. After serving 30 years as our pastor, he felt led of the Lord to devote the rest of his life to the training and discipling of pastors and key lay leaders. Through his non-profit organization, Training for Reigning Institute of Disciple-making, he focuses much of his effort on Third World countries that otherwise have little access to quality training. Pastor Wade is committed to training people to live in loving relationships with other believers, and serve in kingdom partnership to fulfill this Great Commission. Going to the ends of the earth, his ministry is seeking to make disciples of all people groups, baptizing and teaching them all things that Jesus commanded. Since 2008, Pastor Wade’s influence has grown dramatically throughout the world. Making numerous international trips each year, he is teaching disciple-making principles to thousands of people all over the world. Wade continues to be a vital part of our church community. As our Missions Pastor, he is expanding our reach in the earth and is putting us in fellowship with quality ministries that we can partner with in the advancement of the Gospel. In addition, he serves as one of our Overseers, giving valuable oversight and accountability to the ongoing ministry of Grace Fellowship.

The Key to Growing Into A Loving Person

1 John 4:16a, "And we have known and believed the love that God has for us." John 17:23, "I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me." Modern man's concept of love is largely defined and formed by Hollywood and Madison Avenue. If this premise is true, then e...

The Powerlessness of the Excluded Middle Worldview

By "excluded middle," I am not referring to the principle used in logic that argues a statement must be true or false, allowing no middle position, but rather the middle realm between God and man. In other words, many in the West have a two-tiered view of reality with religion (God, miracles) over science (natural laws, matter), but the realmbetween-- of a devil, demons, a...

The Many "Races" of People Issue

In light of current events, with emphasis upon the color of a person's skin, and assertions of racial superiority, and the suggestions by some that we are facing a "race war," we need to cut through the morass of false news and views and get to the real issue and its only answer. In a recent conversation with a dear friend, I was asked, "Where did all the races of people ...

Four Roman NONES and One Cardinal Truth!

Romans 3:9-12, "What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, ...

The Seduction of Moralism

Romans 3:12b, "there is none that does good, no, not one." From the outset of human history according to the scriptures in Genesis 2-3, we learn of the enemy's tactics of seducing Adam and Eve into disobeying God by eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Satan persuaded our first parents to believe that they had an adequate capacity in themselves for being goo...

The Not-For-Today Version of the Bible

Since the end of the 7th century, there have been over 450 versions of the Bible translated into English! In spite of the many versions of the Bible available today, there is one that is not on the market, but is used by multitudes of believers and unbelievers. I call it the "Not-For-Today Version." One man, who calls himself a conservative atheist, uses this version. He...

In My Father's House

John 2:16, "And He said to those who sold doves, "Take these things away! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!" To the surprise and even disappointment of many in Jerusalem, when Jesus arrived, his actions were not directed at the oppressive Roman army, but at the Temple itself. N. T. Wright comments: "Declaring it [the temple] corrupt he performed one o...

Rethinking the Way We Do Church

June 5, 2017 For a number of years, I have been of the opinion that if a strategy to reach people with the gospel, disciple them to reproductive maturity, and involve them in a true New Testament type church is biblical, it will work anywhere and at any period of time. In other words, if it requires huge amounts of money to keep the institution operating, years and years ...

JESUS is THE Central Issue of History!

June 12, 2017 On June 7, 2017, Senator Bernie Sanders (the man who almost won the Democrat nomination for the 2016 Presidential race) angrily shouted down Russell T. Vought, President Trump's nominee for Deputy Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget. David French, of the National Review, gives an abbreviated transcript of the interaction between Sand...
